Born in 1982 in Tucson, Arizona, Jacqueline has admired the art community in Tucson and Phoenix all her life. She is the next generation of a family of artists and has dreamed of becoming a professional artist since childhood. Jacqueline pursued art while attending Glendale Community College, where the college acknowledged her art in portraiture and awarded her with a certificate and 1st place certificate in drawing. She moved on to the University of Arizona in the 2D Studio Art program. At the UA, she furthered her skills in drawing and started painting in acrylic and oil. With the new found love of painting she was able to skim the surface of abstract painting and portraiture in acrylic and oil. Now graduated, Jacqueline continues the exploration in portraiture and abstract art in painting and drawing. In 2004, she was published in the GCC Traveler for her work in portraiture. Additionally, Jacqueline has exhibited her work at the Union gallery for the BFA show and the Then Now and to Be show in 2010. Jacqueline also shows her work at Arizona Art Supply in Tucson and other local businesses on occasion. Since 2012, Jacqueline's artwork has been primarily mixed media, as she is dabbling in many mediums. She continues to find new inspirations in nature studying texture and in portraiture, while meeting new interesting people.
